Project overview
I proposed a brand identity for Cupido's bid of a smart luggage in India that will connect to our target audience. The said brand would convey a futuristic approach of "travelling smart" through its line of smart bags and travel solutions that would communicate a familiar yet a cutting edge identity. Therefore, I came up with the name "Lunar​" as it was just the right combination of all.
Role:
My role was to create a brand identity with a marketable name, and logo that will have scope for being timeless. It was also desirable for the logo mark to have scope for future creative branding.

Main keywords were used to derive meaning in order to develop the brand concept. Each word is interconnected for the purpose of sparking a familiar relation and intensity for the brand.
"Through Lunar, I wanted to connect technology with travel and style."


The Logo Mark
The logo mark has to be recognisable and brandable, where logo mark of Lunar could be used conveniently. This asks for a simple approach to the visual design elements using simple shape, and an identifiable component.

The Word Mark
The word mark is inspired by the Moonhouse Typeface. The shape of letterform is sculpted to adhere to the personality of the brand, while keeping the essence similar to the original.

"Lunar Word Mark is a manifestation of the words: professional, smart and futuristic. It has been designed to appeal to our target audience: tech enthusiasts & professional travellers.
